Franco telephones Hitler and pleads he is not ready for full operations and he has herd of America at war with Germany and states he needs another six months to a year Hitler yells back on the phone you got two months if you fail I will bomb Madrid and slams the phone down Franco is taken back and wonders if he should have gone along with Hitler

Oct. 1943:

In the Pacific, spirits are high on the American side. with the recent victory by task force 54, and the lucky break about the Jap task force heading for Midway. The US has a chance to turn the tide of the pacific war.
In Germany A staff meeting of Generals is being held there is a very high concern that the German army is overstretched as gorilla war in Russia has started up again in the north and in Europe the French resistance has started . Also problems with Spain and General Franco has the German high command very concerned. Spain continues to make excuses and will not commit to attacking the British at Gibraltar.
In England, Churchill is pleased with the new Jet aircraft that have become operational, though few in number they are a welcomed addition. The Vampire Jet shake down is complete and all is a go to start production. However Churchill is VERY alarmed on the number of merchant sinking's from uboat around england and the western approaches. He has asked the Admiralty to look into the matter and to devise a counter.

Nov. 1943:
On the Atlantic coast of the US, 36 IX Uboats begin operations around major ports and the Eastern outbound routes, Great success in the first 2 week period as over 155 merchant ships are sunk. American and British high command are shocked at the high number. The first Uboat wolf packs attack conveys approaching England. Again a large number of sinking's are reported. Churchill consults with Roosevelt about the matter and what to do about it.
In Germany, the SS begins to execute German civilians that protest the war. A group of staff officers meet in secret. They feel Hitler has gone to far and will bring about the end for Germany ,some want to force Hitler to step down others want him to be assassinated no agreement reached in the group. They will meet again sometime in early 1944.
In Russia, winter has set in and the gorilla fighters have fled to the Urals to wait out the winter. General Model is stepping up action in the north to deal with the threat. The French resistance is small for now but is growing, Model to take charge in France once the Russian north is back under control.

Dec. 1943:

In the pacific, the Americans spring their trap on the Japanese task force near midway. Although the Japanese are caught off guard, they recover quickly and make a fight of it. However in the end the American forces gain the upper hand, the task force is forced to turn back to Japan. The Japanese lose 4 Aircraft carriers and 12 other ships, to 2 carriers and 8 ships lost for the the Americans. Shocking news rec'd back in Japan and hushed up a few high level officers ponder the attack on America may have been a major blunder.

In Europe a quiet month, a few probing attacks by the Fins and Norwegians but little else.
In England and the US, Uboat attacks continue to mount, the lack of supplies are starting to hurt English production.

In Germany, German spys have reported 2 aircraft carriers under construction at Scapa flow.

Jan. 1944:
In Germany German high command is stunned to learn that Uboat attacks have dropped off . They suspect that the code may be compromised. New codes are installed on all uboats, those at sea are ordered to return to base. 9 IX boats are lost off the American coast, however several boats operating in that area have found a tanker route from the Gulf of Mexico to south America. 10 tankers have been sunk in the last week.
In the Pacific Japan is starting to pull troops from Australia . Country is still in Japanese hands but at a reduced strength as before.

In Spain General Franco continues to stall, so Hitler against the advise of his general staff sends a small task force to Spain to deal with Franco and attack Gibraltar.

In Russia, Himmler orders mass roundups and some shootings to the unrest in norther Russia. Field Marshal Manstein the Governor of Russia has put a report together for an urgent meeting with Hitler next month, on how to deal with the growing threat.

Feb. 1944:
In the Pacific The war is going well for the Americans, Truk Island was attacked and taken, with minimal losses. The Japanese are on the defensive now, trying to fortify their holdings. Lack of Man power and material are taking their toil.
In Spain Franco alerts England of a German task force that is sailing for the Med. Franco ask Britain for assistance against a coming German threat.
In England Churchill receives Franco's warning and dispatches the Med fleet that is stationed in the North Africa region to meet the threat. Churchill does not trust Franco, and does not offer assistance to Spain, He is only concerned for British holding only at this point.

In Germany several low ranking German officers are shot because of questioning the round up and execution of Innocent Russian and French civilians. The secret group of German officers meet again to discuss the situation. After much debate it is decided to Kill Hitler and the inner circle as soon as possible. Hitler meets with his general staff to draw up plans for a invasion of Spain and Italy in Mid to late 1944. With England to be invaded spring of 1945. Hitler has had enough of Franco and will have his head on a platter. He orders bombing of Spain to start ASAP.
In Russia the gorilla war is continuing, for every 1 group that is captured 5 more spring up. The hard line of roundups and shooting have back fired and made matters worse.
In the Pacific the war continues to go well for the Americans, 2 more small islands in the Gilbert's have been captured. Japan is gearing up for a major offensive in the next few months. Japanese forces have pulled out of Australia except for a small occupation force controlling the major cities and ports.
In England the med fleet is nearing Gibraltar, Sinkings have increased around England. The supply line from America is starting to get thin again.

Donitz's meets his staff all U-boats are withdrawn from coastal operations to add to his bad news the navy budget has been slashed by 80% in favor of the army the result of this no new U-boats can be built only repair work to continual and all war ships in production are stopped Hitler believes the war will be won by mid 1945

Aug 1944:

In England on Aug 10th Churchill is on a moral boosting tour of a bombed section of London from the night before when a assassins bullet rips through Churchill's skull, He drops to the ground dead in a massive pool of blood. The Assassin is never caught or ID'ed. General Montgomery, declares Martial law and takes over control of the country. A few days later England is dealt another severe blow when Task force Trident attacks Scapa Flow , Both Air craft carriers are destroyed along with the dry docks they were in. Construction set back well over 1 year if the ships can be salvaged. Also attacked and sunk was one King George Battle ship and 2 heavy cruisers. One cruiser being sunk in the narrows of the main channel. The port is out of action for the next 4-6 months as the ship is removed.
In The pacific the Massive Japanese task force is almost assembled. Due to sail for their destination by the beginning of September. The Americans are aware of the task force , but have no idea where it will strike. All American bases are put on high alert.
In Russia & France the mass killing continue, The killing s are doing little to quill the revolt in both countries.
In Germany Final plans are put in place for operation Eagle, Hitler is very pleased with Churchill's demise, and expects a quick victory in England. The attacks in Spain are going well, but the army is bogged down in Italy. Uboat sinking's continue to rise The fleet is down to 210 boats. British Shipping is still being sunk but not at a high level. In a secret location the German officer group meets again to plan the next attempt on Hitler and his inner circle.

Sept. 1944:
In England the British Gov is in turmoil since the death of Churchill, Montgomery is acting like a British Hitler, rounding up government and Military officials he thinks had a hand in the Churchill assassination. Final estimates in Scapa flow, one carrier beyond repair, the other will take 14 months to repair and finally launch. The good news the dry docks can be repaired and will be operational in the next 4 months. More bad news for the British, a British action group was engaged be task force Trident, 2 Battleships 2 heavy cruisers and 5 destroyers were sunk by Tridents planes. One other light cruiser was sunk by a uboat as she limped back to port damaged. Only 2 destroyers made it back to port.
In Spain Madrid falls to the Germans, and Franco flees to the mountains. Gibraltar is under siege from land and air.
In Italy, the Germans are still bogged down losses are high on both sides, The Germans do not have enough Men or equipment to break out of the stalemate they are in.
In Russia and France gorilla war continue to increase. Hitler has General Modal shot, for his failure in Russia and France, even though he had resigned from the Army and had retired. The German High command are stunned at Hitlers actions.

In the pacific things are quiet both sides massing for the upcoming clash in the near future. In America, the final A-bomb test is a complete success. 2-3 bombs are under construction for war use.

Oct. 1944:
Operation Eagle is started Oct 2nd, massive bombings and air raids rain down on England. The British are a bit stunned at size of the air campaign against them, some air bases are over whelmed and take heavy damage, few planes however are destroyed on the ground.
In Germany, Hitler, and his inner circle are meeting in Munich to honor the lost Aircraft carrier lost in the Med a few months before. As they approach the concert hall in central Munich 2 large bomb blast rock the city street. 2 land mines were placed under the manhole covers. One blast tears through the 2nd car Killing Himmler and Goering. The first car is partly caught in the other blast, and Hitler is severely injured. He is rushed to a nearby hospital and lays in a deep coma. Goebbels is unhurt in the blast.
In England and America, news of Hitlers unconfirmed death is welcomed news, With Hitler and his inner circle dead the war may come to a quick end. In America 2 Atomic bombs are ready for use.
In Spain Gibraltar falls and Spain is on the verge of defeat. Franco is captured and is transported to Berlin.
In Italy the Germans have lost ground due to help from the British, The German line is pushed back to the southern base of the Alps.
In Russia and France, the gorilla war continues, However the Germans are gaining the upper hand in France. In Russia things are still not in complete control. There are some pockets that the German no longer control.
Back in Germany, Goebbels takes control of the government, with The German High command back in control of all armed forces. Hitler remains in a coma his status is unchanged at months end. On Oct 30th Task force Trident intercepts a large convey in the AL sector. 35 merchant ships and all 4 escort destroyers are destroyed, the convey is completely wiped out. The task force returns to port to rearm and refuel.
In the Pacific the Japanese Fleet is on the move, The Americans are trying to guess where they will strike. All US bases are on highest alert.

Standing by Hitler's bedside is Heinz Linge Hitler's valet he calmly draws his gun and shoots Hitler twice in the head Hitler is now dead two SS guards burst in the room and kill Linge meanwhile in Berlin Sepp Dietrich has moved against Goebbels the army is sick of the war and demands a end to the war Goebbels draws his gun but is to slow Dietrich shoots Goebbels dead one hour latter a broadcast is made from Berlin all military operations are to stop on November 2nd 1944 in the west no word as yet about Russia

England

The news is a complete surprise a waiting game has started and on November 2nd a signal is rec'd all U-boats and surface forces are to stop all operations and return to there bases all fighting units in Italy and Spain are to cease fire all air units are to step down

Montgomery recd's a communication from the new government in Germany they wish to talk and bring a end to the war a few days latter talks open up and seven days latter peace is declared with Germany and England

The sudden breaking news coming out of Europe was a surprise and on November 2nd all U-boats operating against America are recalled a couple of days later Germany wants Peace with America a cease fire is arranged and in December Peace talks are under way and going well by mid December peace is declared

Meanwhile Japan has been hit by an earthquake causing mass destruction to many areas the Emperor sees this has a bad omen and states withdraw the attack fleet but its to late the fleet has reached its location and is under orders no radio messages are to be sent or rec'd

Jan. 1945:

In Europe, peace agreements are settled in Spain & Italy Gen. Franco is release from prison and allowed to return to Spain. Talks are still on going with Russia some small scale gorilla activity going on in the north. Poland, Luxembourg and Belgium are formed into buffer states, and are now part of a new unified Germany. The Allies agree to this as long as Germany pulls out of all other European countries, which Germany does.

In the Pacific The Japanese task force is discovered near Midway. A large scale naval battle starts for control of Midway and the Pacific in general. The battle goes on and off over over a 3 week period with the forces attacking ,regrouping and attacking again. On both sides over 250 ships of all types are engaged , with over 25 carriers between the 2 sides. In the end the Americans gain the upper hand with 75% of the Japanese task force sunk, compared to 50% for the Americans. The Japanese break off contact at the end of the month and return to defend the Japan mainland.

Feb. 1945:

In Russia no agreement is reached, so the Germans pull back all troops to the west side of the Dniepr river. Germany will keep the Caucasus oil region for themselves. The Germans set up a DMZ zone on the Dniepr region that stretches from Odessa to the Baltic sea. With Kiev being the strong point . This region will become the eastern Prussian buffer state of unified Germany. England and America are not happy with the situation in Russia but there is finally peace in Europe. End of Hostilities in Europe comes Feb.25 . Peace and rebuilding start.

In the Pacific Japan and America are licking their wounds and regrouping after the bitterly long Midway campaign. With peace in Europe England joins America in the Pacific to regain it's lost holdings from Japan early in the war. America and England being to plan for the Island hoping campaign to start in early April.

March 1945:
In Germany Sepp Dietrich holds elections and sets up a loosely democratic form of Gov. Polish, Belgian, and Lux. officials are given important positions in the government structure so they and their countrymen feel welcomed and have a voice in their future. Dietrich pledges full support to rebuilding Poland , Belgium and Luxembourg, better than what they were before the war. The 3 former country leadership seem satisfied and throw their support behind Dietrich. England and America, send letters of support to Dietrich, for the decisions he has made in western Europe. They further state they would like to see a resolution in Russia in the near future. Dietrich responds and thanks the British and Americans for their support and understanding. He pledges to continue to talk with the Russians to try to settle the dispute.

In the Pacific, Plans are made to take Iwo Jima, to get into range to Bomb Japan with conventional or Atomic bombs to bring a quick end to the war. With Peace in Europe the American public wants their troops back home ASAP. Later that month a invasion force steams toward Iwo Jima.
In America, Roosevelt dies in Warm Springs Georgia on March 26th, Harry Truman is now the new president of the US.
