What other games do you like?

i dont know about that,single player quick battles usually let you pick anybody units that are in the game,plus they let you play with legionaire units.they are post marius.its a really really good mod,but the units and cavalry are so slow.

i was looking on their forum and a few people are bringing up but they say they meant it.the men are supposed to be jogging.the cavalry are way to slow.they are BARELY faster than the infantry!!still,its unbelieveable the amount of new units theyve brought into it.and they look fantastic. i still havent found a readme file detailing the full list of changes have u?

no i haven't found a readme. I don't think there is one, probably because there are so many changes they lost track of it!

yea, the forums are probably the best source of information at the moment. I agree about the issue with the cavalry, but I'm sure the patch will be out in the next week or two which will solve a lot of issues.

any official word on the cavalry speed, from a mod developer? I'll have a look anyway.

yeh,the developers claim that the cavalry speed is more realistic.that cant be true.they said that they are going to adjust the leg movement speed,because at the minute they look a bit....odd.

have u come across any info about the changes in RTW yet dagamecat?i keep looking at the forums and they are all talking about mercenary phyases etc?i havent a clue whats happened.

i'm afraid not. To be honest I've not been playing it, it's great but I find it way too time-consuming, ie. I go in and when I finally stop playing, most of the day seems to have vanished.
