Sorry buddy, the lag must have been the start of something major lmao. As i was talking to you it cut out and silent hunter crashed to desktop.
Let me know if the game was good for the rest of the time, i had a feeling something was up!
We have to do that again sometime!

Let me know if the game was good for the rest of the time, i had a feeling something was up! We have to do that again sometime! Hey Yep, did the same to me. Crashed right to the desktop. I had lots of fun. I would love to do this again! To bad so sad for the guys who missed out. Would have loved to have seen my tonage on that one. Specaily after sinking that T3 with one torp.  But it was no big deal that it crashed. I had to get off anyways. Me's hungry and I'm sure you were probably tired. |

It was a wicked set of games  The first was a morning raid against a convoy, me being me i was typing "good luck everybody!" and had not pressed numlock, so when i got to e i blew ballast and surfaced... For the rest of that game i was chased by destroyers lmao, but did manage to sink 2, which was more then i ever have before in all my games! And i survived but the convoy had escaped. First game results. The second game was against the same convoy again, this time i got a tanker in the first attack, bob saved me sinking a destroyer about 50 metres infront of me (it was amazing lol) then we both hit a frieghter and he sank it, i got a tanker. I think bob thought he was a hunter killer was just sinking all the destroyers lmao. By the time a few minutes had passed all the destroyers were sunk , bob had sunk 2 destroyers so everyone surfaced and wacked the convoy with deck guns!! lol. Much fun! second game results The final game was against a task force, i was so far out of position there was little i could do, and got sunk trying to race to get the carriers, Bob lasted longest sinking a tanker, but then my computer finally crashed (stress or the game?) and so it was over, Loads of fun!! Next time it would be wicked if more of you could turn up, i cant recommend it enough. |

I will try and work on hosting a game on my game server (AMD 2800 XP, 512mb RAM).... and playing on my other PC behind the NAT router. Dont know if it can be done.
I think my connection will help improve the game (2GB down and 1 GB up)......Will try and test some this week and let you all know.

Yep, it was an absolute blast! You all missed out! We just started the first mission and I noticed that someone was trying to commit suicide by surfacing there boat. I thought, you poor silly nut. Then Dom sent an IM stating that he accidentally blew ballast wile trying to send an IM. LOL. They about cracked him in half before he could get back down. Funny thing is I pulled a Dom maneuver in the second game myself. I blew ballast and then hit the numlock key. So, everyone got a IM from me that looked something like this......ppppppppppppp........periscope depth NOW! LOL ;D The first mission actualy ended early for me....LOL. I was to busy typing IM's and locked into destroying a particilar passenger liner. When I noticed a slick little DD sneaking up on me from behind  Of cource I ordered a crash dive and headed my boat hard to STRB. but to no avail that little bugger landed a depth charge on me aft end. BOOM......OUCH! And down I went. So, I was left to moving about the game environment with my external cam view. This actualy was kinda fun. I got to witness a real slick maneuver that Dom did on one of those DD's. I think he called it the "possum maneuver". He fooled that DD big time! Good one! In the second mission I got my revenge on those DD's...LOL! I was lining this particular DD up for demolition and fired a fish at him. I went to the free roaming camera as I always do so that I can enjoy my succses and I noticed that this DD was getting ready to drop a load right on top of some one. Turns out that it was Dom crash diving as fast as he could go. My torp hit and exploded just as that DD was right over his head. That was totaly cool! I'm still kicking myself that I did not take a snap shot of that one.  Third mission was great! A heavily escorted task force......hehehe my favorite with lots of DD's! Of course I started out giving those poor DD's a bad time. After sinking my first one there were a few of his buddies near by that headed my way. I went to about 100m or so and set her to ahead slow. I evaded the DD's and was close to the task force and then I came up to periscope depth to take out a nice size cruiser. I think it was a cruiser, I'm not sure. He was bigger then a DD thats for sure. One torp and he was done for. Next I noticed that a T3 was heading my way so I swung around to get setup for a perfect side shot on her STRB side. Just about then things started to get real jurky in the game environment. I fired my fish at that T3 busting her in half and things locked up. Then SH3 crashed to the desktop and that was the end of some really fun muliplayer gaming. That actualy worked out pretty good because this captain was getting real hungry and I now Dom had to be real tired due to it being very late in his neck of the woods. ;D It was loads of fun to atleast play a multiplayer game with some one I know. I can hardly wait to do it again!  And hopefuly the next time Dom has a muliplayer game setup for the members of this forum I hope we will have some more people playing that I know!!!! Well, I better get off here, my son is bugging me to death to play a muliplayer game over the LAN. LOL ;D I'm off to blow ballast, I mean periscope depth....hehehe! |
