**Edited**
Ok here is the plan, read my post further down the page also.
Meet on saturday 10 minutes before or so in the live chat room on the Red Devils website. Organise into two or more groups if needed.
Then into the game and sink stuff!
Sound like a good plan?

Ok cancel that, lol i cant be arsed to sit waiting for people. Ok this is the plan, online game at 7pm british time which is in 1.30 hours from now. Everyone who wants in and sees this message go to the online games section of the forum and i will try to organise from there, be aware im probably not the best person to host the game since it could crap out on my connection, if someone else wants to host that would be cool since then if i do crash its not so important!! ok to the multiplayer forum lol. Actually im going to go on the realtime speech thingy too on the website. hometown.aol.co.uk/dominicobaggio/chatroom.htmlGo and idle in here if you are interested or visit here, i will be going for food in 30 mins. So to sum it up since i waffled a lot, go to hometown.aol.co.uk/dominicobaggio/chatroom.html and we will group in there, then we will start a multiplayer game if we can get a few people. Hopefullly at 7pm england time or later if need be. ps if i dont answer its because im eating or messing about with the website, im finishing the advanced mission building thing, just write in the window and i will see it later.

Hey Dom Maybe you should setup a time for a game in advance of say maybe a week or so, like on a Saturday. I live in Washington State which is the west coast of the USA. I dont know if I would be able to make it because of the time difference but if so then I would love to play! ;D

Yeah i am trying wednesday night in the multiplayer meet section of this forum, but i dont think anyone goes and looks in there lmao.
If that doesnt work then i will organise one for a week or so and do it in here. It may be a problem during the week with people being in different countries. So maybe saturday is a better idea.

My old Freelancer clan had about 50% members from UK and Europe and 50% US. I was ALWAYS a pain to get clan meets going due the time difference. ;D
If you can make it on a Sat Dom and post a time....I will try to make it. Would be cool to go out as a wolfpack.

I would love to join in but I still didn`t install my Starforce version. I hope I`ll do it tommorow (wednsday) so that I`ll be set up for Saturday`s show. I am in 45 now with type XXl and it`s boring. BTW what is with the compatibility issue when using mods?

You need to have the 1.2 version mods wont work online. Though little changes like high res flags and different keyboard commands still work. We will try to organise the game for Saturday. Im not sure if i can make it or not then but if everyone else can that will be cool, there will always be another weekend for me if not! We need to know your preffered time (write down your timezone too eg 9pm New york) so we can work it out. If you can host the game, i can but my connection is dodgy and may result in it chucking you all out, not clever! So its best if someone else can. What your difficulty preferences are. If there are enough people playing we can get a few games running which would be cool, otherwise it will be just one game at the "please the majority" settings lol. My preferences are Sat evening 7-10pm Uk time Realistic difficulty (though i dont mind auto tdc if everyone wants that) Type VII uboats only (i tried playing online when i was trying to organise everyone the other day and they all had type 21's was funny, me in my rusty VII. It doesnt matter about your skill level so everyone is welcome! In a real wolfpack attack there were all different skill levels. As long as you are going to take it semi-seriously lol, no shooting your own team (though i am going to get messervy, but shhhh its a suprise) The planMeet on saturday 10 minutes before or so in the live chat room on the Red Devils website. Organise into two or more groups if needed. Then into the game and sink stuff! Sound like a good plan?

Do you mean it will start at 7pm UK time?? So be at the live chat room at 6:50 uk time?
I forgot how far behind the USA Eastern Time Zone is (I think its - 5 hours (or is that -5 GMT)...not sure).....
Anyone know of a good time conversion website?
My preferences are:
Realistic (although I do use the auto TDC)
Type VII works for me.

Where is this site of Yours actually hosted Dom?
In my profile section for a Forum time (for Slovenia=GMT+1) I put +1 (assuming you are in England) and then I got some weird readings. So I had to set it to +6 which means that your server is in: Novosibirsk, Dhaka or Sry Jayawardenepura - wherever that might be. ;D

Yeah thats my preference, though we have no time for the meeting yet, i will take everyones times they prefer and make something from there. So just let us know a time you like. As for dificulty settings there is no way to pick everything on except manual tdc, if someone knows a way let me know. As far as i know you can only set easy, hard, realistic With the settings of each being different. You cant pick individually For time zones click on the clock on your control bar computer thingy (bottom right) and then go to time zones, it will tell you all the different zones. Just tell me in your time i can work it out. It says eastern time is GMT -5 @ messervy : must be eastern America since i just checked mine and i had set it to +5 to get the correct time

GMT -5....thats what I thought.
As far as difficulty....you cant select the diff options in "Realism" with multiplayer like you do with career? I have all options checked in my carrer except for "Manual TDC" and "External Camera" (I like to watch the ships blow up and I ghost the ships when my crew is using the deck gun on them.)

Basically for americans its going to be early morning or lunchtime, and evening for euros, or we can do it midnight 1am euros evening americans lol See how peoples best time fits in. No you cant set them individually, or at least i couldnt figure out how to. It may be that the host can modify a folder and change them individually but we can do that some other time. For now getting a game going is going to be a challenge ! lol The settings are pretty poor, its 3 or 4 for difficulty, like the generic settings in game. And also you can only have free uboat choice or set by the host. So the host couldnt say "ok only boats from 1943 and previous". He has to say only "1941 type VII" or, only "1939 type II" and everyone has to use that same sub. Or "whatever you want" where everyone gets to choose, we could just say to each other only uboats from 1943 onwards and stick by our own ideas if you get me, but it cant be set in game. Its all one extreme or the other im afraid, not many options! I think im going to go try a game now, and stress test my connection. Just got home

Yeah! +5 versus +6 is exactly the way it should be (for me is GMT+1). But if you look at your control bar computer thingy you will see that +6 is NOT eastern America. That is -6. ;D
