I did one on mission editing since a lot of people seem to be confused about it. Just the basics as it took me longer then expected (not much change there then hey ) But hopefully i will add more complicated info later if i get chance, so you can make super missions. This should give you the basics though! Hope its helpfull to someone.

lol thanks guys, yeah i just figured it out bit by bit. I always wanted to make missions in sturmovik but it looked too complicated, and i wasnt that interested to put the effort in to figure it out (or have the time). But i did so with this and it wasnt that complicated once i got going with it. My desire to make missions overcame my natural lazyness hehe. I did trials and tested out different bits. I actually tried getting ships to give out radio messages as they sink, for the ss cuba one. Like SSS (sub attack sos version) SS cuba sinking torpedoed by uboat south of blah blah! And they do work, but it says message from BDU at the top... so is a bit rubbish. I want to write to the guys who made the game and ask them to put in another message option but dont know how to contact them, it shouldnt be hard for them to add. Pity really, it would make a cool addition to the campaign and especially single missions. My ankle is still pretty bad, i can walk now but fell over going upstairs today when it gave up on me lmao. No football tommorow i doubt i should give it another week or so. Frustrating!!! Thanks for asking. Though... i am really tempted to strap it up loads and have a go, its a risk, fun and risk damaging it worse, or no fun and let it get better for next sunday... We shall see.

I have made many missions in IL2 over the years, and it was not as hard to use at this at the first. But with that said, this one is not that hard either, and with your page you just put up it made it easer. I read it and now I under stand some of the setting a lot better, as I was having a hard time understanding how all the ships would be in the game. And as you said the world is already setup and going.
Now if you have time and you have learned some of the more envoved settings please put those up, as I am going to do like Il2 ad spend a great amount of time building special missions, like you have said . Looking for or attacking bases in the Navys version of a Commando raid. The kind that you ask for people to step forward. As most will not come back. ;D
