I would just like to report that I mailed Dominico the other night for his advice when it seemed I had been banned from the SH3 Forum site and he came back to me in seconds with an answer.I really appreciated that.

Its not often i spot messages but i like the way this forum points them out at the top of the page, so you can see them pretty easy. Hope you are back up and running there.

Hi Expert11. I honestly don't know.Dominico suggested I check my posts there. I mostly used to join in just the normal run of the mill stuff.The only mildly controversial thread I started was one time before the game came out when things were rather quiet, I posted a thread saying that campaigns in simulators were a waste of time and that all that was really needed was a mission editor. Boy did that wind them up!Heavyweights like Lanzfeld and Tomcat were on my case.

Lanzfield got banned for a week but they forgot to unban him so he never went back.

I never realized they banned people there. I have moderated a gaming forum before and always managed to work things out without having to ban people. Having said that, some of the absolute morons I have seen at the official forum might of had my finger wavering over the BAN button a few times. Weird how you got banned for nothing in particular.

I personally dont believe in moderation or censorship.

I think the forums at ubi are ok, its only certain problems which crop up but i think closing threads and banning people is a lame way to do it.

I mean fair enough if they are being purposfully abusive to someone else, or offensive for the sake of it, but i dont think anyone does that (well the odd few do) and if they do the people of the forum usually put them down as it should be.

I dont think i will be moderating here unless bin laden signs up.

Things are a little touchy at the IL2/UBI boards, with the mess with the patch.
At least that is what I am seeing.
And it looks like they are starting to get some heat. some poor person posted what was said about all the calls going to UBI about the board and patch and stuff that was not with PF.
Boom , gone.
The post was up less than an hour and was not only closed but gone.
I my self am glad that SH3 has come out and it is such a great Sim.
Give me something to do and to work on and have fun with out all the mess to go along with it.

I can't hardly stop playing the Sim just to sleep lol. ;D
