The name of this says it all. Post your best screenshots in here. Not just any old screenshots but the truly great screenshots. I will get the ball rolling with my favourite 4 pictures. One is of the greatest storm i saw. This wave was pretty awe inspiring. And you could see the boats nose pushing through it... Crisp cool evening near Norway And safely home in port on Christmas morning 1939 Get showing off guys, i dont think they are too hard to beat

I was a straight up shot , hit her dead center... BUT now the luck is getting better ;D This what it looks like when your 4th patrol sends you off the coast of Spain and you blunder into an unescorted convoy and the results 14 ships, 54k tonnage, 0 torpedos left, 0 ammo left and still had to sail to spain

well Leutnant Werner was a guest on my last patrol and he managed to take some pretty photographs. this one was the middle of the night, and the huge explosion messed up the exposure, lighting up the surrounding clouds. You can still see the ship's broken back, though ....well, it was my first attempt, i'm not too happy with it, but its good fun to try and do. I love photoshop.

Hi again Been playing arround with manual TDC and i think i got a hang of it. Just sunk a british battleship on the first go. The result: preety cool pics! The attack map after the battle. Notice the quantity of destroyers arround me. One actually passed 100 m in front of my scope as i geared up for the shot on the battleship. Launched 3 fish at 1900 meters. Target speed was 21 knots, AOB was arround 100. All 3 torps hit and exploded on the very first attempt The first two sunk it, 3rd was just extra (they were all on impact). The result: 28.000 tons of Revenge class British warship going to the bottom, and lots of angry destroyers pinging me! I didn't wait to evade the destroyers, i was just happy i sunk it And the confimation! Preety good on my first manual TDC attempt, no? Guess it was mostly luck (although i had practiced for 1 hour with manual TDC on merchant ships at the naval academy) ;D Gonna keep practicing, manual torps rock! Good luck and happy huntin!

Great Screenshots I would like to learn how to post screenshot? Somebody would have to walk me thru it. I am on my first patrol out Kiel Sept, 1939 I am west of coast of Norway in stormy sea's big waves overcast. Was plowing my way thru waves on way to AM18 area. Do you guys stay on surface and ride it out ? or do go to P-dept listen for sonar contacts? How long do these storm's Last in SH3 I see lighting and hear thunder. Sure look's real My crew moral gets low fast after 3 days out is this normal? the control officers get tired fast I just get one rested and the other two are tired Is this all normal? I feel bad I can't get them all rested? I have see two ships a allied tug or trawler? Sunk with deck gun. and a German merchant near Kristiansand checked the Kristiansand port no ships in port. Do you guys check the ports as you pass by? Hope I not asking to many questions? and not boring you with my first patrol log Fair Sea's Lane

To post screenshots you have to put your picture on the internet, on a web-hosting site or something, like www.imageshack.us. Once you upload the pic there you take the the first link for forums they give you(hotlink for forums 1), it looks something like "URL=http://www.imageshack.us] [/URL" and just paste it into the message box on the forum Storms vary in lenght, crewmen get tired under 64x time compression (above it they just stay the same) and morale is irelevant, it doesn't really count. No use for checkin all the ports you see, and don't just spend only 24 hours in the patrol area, stay there untill you run out of fuel or ammo to sink as many ships as possible. Sink all the ships that are green or red (NOT the blue ones ). Good hunting!

sorry I don't have time to answer all your questions right now, but I'll answer the screenshot one. To take a screenshot in the game, use Ctrl F11. This puts a bmp in your SH3 folder. Now it's best if you convert it to jpeg, and maybe you could resize it too. If you dont have a program to do this, try Irfanview. It's totally free, and great for stuff like this. I would resize the picture to 75%, and then save it as a jpeg. Next you need to upload the picture to the interweb Imageshack is very good for this, just select your picture and upload it. It will upload the picture, then give you a bunch of links. I just select the direct link, and copy it. Then to post your image here, just type: IMAGE URL HERE BUT replace the < > brackets with square ones [ ]. So to post my screenshot I just type: [img]http://img238.exs.cx/img238/7687/outsidescapaflow1yo.jpg[/img] (EDIT: oops got beaten to it, lol, it took me a long time to type all that and here's my screenshot: I have no idea how Werner took that one! but anyway, I was just on a patrol, they told me to patrol grid AM16 (i think). Well, you may know what is contained in that square: Scapa Flow! I had to try and infiltrate it. I waited submerged for a whole day, waiting for it to get dark, before surfacing and working my way in slowly. I spotted a couple of stationary merchants, and went and sank them no problem, and then saw a couple of stationary corvettes nearby. I sank the first corvette, but then a destroyer came steaming along, the other corvetter woke up and... well, I was in very shallow water, I didn't last very long, due to some well placed depth charges oh well.. it was fun though, will try again tomorrow.

Sink all the ships that are green or red (NOT the blue ones ). Good hunting! Dont listen to this advice from Zak!! He is a mole for the british. Lol if you sink green ships you lose points and the fuhrer will move you to the russian front! Greens are neutral! Germany will end up fighting the whole world! Evil evil Zak...

Lane, try PhotoBucket.com. This is the easiest one I've found to use for posting screenshots. You can upload multiple images even. Once you have a shot uploaded, look under it and you'll see a box with the img tags. Click on it to highlite it and then copy/paste to your post. Real easy to use.
