Patrols 6 and 7 both conducted in miserable weather conditions .. Heavy Seas, Heavy Rain, Heavy Fog Visability less than 400m most of the time, twice we nearly rammed ships attempting to position for a shot, heavy seas caused several torpedo malfunctions and several more missed shots due to torpedos changing angles after breaking water.. Only a total of 8 ships sunk during both patrols

lol i just had similar rotten luck. Just took 4 torps to sink a coastal frieghter!!! I was cursing my tdc calculations. First two infront as he slowed down, third behind and then managed him with the 4th and a great cheer went up.
Once they see me and start weaving those little ships are a pain in the ass.

Great Storm shots Stryker, I don't know how? but when the bridge crew says we have been detected "Sir" I guess that's when they start there zig zag course changes. I sure would if the Lookouts spotted a sub on surface approching. And I was captain. Lane
