How come ,when you've got a fella on the bridge , shouting range and bearing of contacts at you, You can't transfer this info' to the TDC?
The Mk1 eyeball has got to be as accurate as the stadimeter when it's p*ssing with rain and blowing a gale !

well, you can.

if you go to the TDC screen (F6), you can press a button that will let you input all the values on the dials manually, speed, range, everything

but it would be nice if we could enter any range value manually into the notepad.
