Hi all unfortunate I was unable to see this film on the big screen any way six months wait and now I got it release here in England on DVD the film I am talking about is -
DOWNFALL
Yet another great film the Germans have done it again brilliant from start to finish if you want to know about the last days of Germany during the battle of Berlin this is a must see film the story is about Hitler and his staff in the Bunker the Generals fighting the losing war and the events in Berlin as the war draws to a close.
Bruno Ganz is in my view gives the best performance of Hitler in the last days with out going over the top well done and the supporting cast did a good performance as well a gripping masterpiece well worth watching.
Well done to all those involved in making this film the Germans may have lost the war but they know how to do great films like Das Boot (The Boat) and Stalingrad and now Downfall.

Hi Con20or,
Stalingrad was done by the same production team who did Das Boot (The Boat) the story is about a group of soldiers who are on leave in Italy and are sent to Stalingrad about September 1942 they walk in to a hell hole not like there last place North Africa the nightmare world of close combat and of course the Russian winter the story is there hopes and fears and the fight for survival.
Best in the German dialogue but you can watch it in English as well 132 minutes long stars are Domique Horwitz Thomas Kretschmann Jochen Nickel Sebastian Rudolph Dana Vavrova
