I cant seem to play music on the gramaphone, the music box is ticked, but all settings for General, Music, Speech, etc are at 0DB, there are no positive settings only negative. Whats wrong ?

You have to put mp3 files into the grammaphone folder of sh3. There is nothing in there at the moment.
The db rating in the sound menu is just the overall settings. So if you turn them all to -5db and leave music at 0db then music will be loud in game. Its a wierd system i know, dont ask me why lol.
So check your folder for some tunes. If you need some messervy made some wicked historical tunes on the ubi forums, i think in the creatives section or something.

SubSim.com Downloads SH3 I found a bunch of Das Boot music on SubSim SH3 Forum may have to look for it. try a search I have the Theme song Das Boot installed plus two other songs you can find them at Neals SubSim d/l Lane ;D

That is where you put them.
But when i said check your folder i meant check your own music files for good songs and then put them in there.
The subsim ones pointed out are good, as are messervys songs.

How do you post those links? You guys make it look so easy Over all these years working with post and installing mods there are some simple things I never have learn Lot of times I want to post a link or a ref to a post on some other forum. Thank's for any tips The Old Man Lane ;D

You post a link by either right clicking and copy shortcut and then pasting it here. Or if its a link to a page you are looking at just click the page address at the top of the bar, then press ctrl and C together to copy it.
Then control and V to paste it here.
