Figured I stick a few interesting histories just FYI..
Some Uboats had colorful histories, Most made no impact on the war at all, and some were just plain doomed from the start ..
U-416 Comissioned 11-4-42
sunk by soviet mine 3-30-43
raised 4-8-43 and restored 10-4-43
used as training boat until 12-12-44
when it collided with a German minelayer AND
sunk again
