Thats a hard one..... dont know of any sites that woudl help you being as you are in Ireland. Do you have to pay a VAT tax??
I would definately see if there is a UK Mac store (Apple).
Im still waiting to take the MP3 (iPOD) plunge myself. I am holding out until there is a One-stop shop with REASONABLE priced MP3s. RIght now there are too many sites you would have to subscribe to, and each site wants a membership fee...then they also charge (except for Napster) per song.
I really feel the MP3 industry would take off if they offered 1 song for $ .10 or a whole CD for $5.00 (just to giveyou an idea a CD can cost $15 or more in a store here in the USA). Right now most Online MP3s that you can buy are $ .99 and if the CD you want has 15 songs...thats $15!!! I might as well go to the store and BUY the CD. That is such a ripoff as the record companies dont have to pay for distribution (except server hardware), manufactutring, printing...... and yet the cost is the same.

yea con20or, I'm holding out for an iriver, cos i think they're the best. I'm actually waiting for the 20GB iriver H10, which apparently comes out in about September. The best thing about these is that you don't need any software to import files onto them (like that nasty itunes). They appear as a removable drive under XP, and you just drag your files over. Its annoying because nobody has made the perfectly functional mp3 player yet, they all seem to have some annoying limitation to put me off. But still, when the 20GB H10 comes out, i'm getting one

Actually I would just use a small iPod. I never get to listen to music long enough for anything bigger . Heck a 20 gig would more than do me fine.
