Last weekend I downloaded a game demo. When I had seen all I wanted I deleted it.No problem.But.To start the game download I had to download a link which is,apparently, some sort of little programme itself and now I find I cannot delete it's icon from my Desktop. It just sits there staring defiantly at me.It goes by the name of 'Game-setup-DM' and though it's only 170kb it's doing my head in!Trying the normal delete is useless.I just get the 'Cannot delete is being used by another person or programme blah blah'.I even tried the Norton SysWorks WipeProgram utility thinking 'got you now buddy' but no go.Anybody help.

what i do in these annoying situations is make a batch file. Just make a text file, and in it put this text del "[LOCATION OF FILE]" pause (with the " ", not the [ ]) then rename the file something like delete.bat then try and run it just to test that its working properly, it should still come up with the same error message. if not, i've probably said something wrong so far. anyway, if thats good so far, just place the batch file in your Startup folder (C:\Documents and Settings\YOURNAME\Start Menu\Programs\Startup i think) then when you reboot your computer it should execute the batch file before any other programs get chance to load up, and therefore delete the file then you can get rid of the batch file. DISCLAIMER!!! I take no responsibility (and refuse to feel guilt ) for any damage done to your computer... though i can't possible see what can go wrong
