This film looks truly amazing, im looking forward to this more then star wars!! The trailer actually brought a tear to my eye. Filmed in Morrocco where i went on holiday and in Cordoba spain, and is a Ridley Scott (Aliens, Gladiator) Product so should be immense. Looks like a great film.I like history too but the Horse and Musket era mainly and particularly the American Civil War which I just can't get enough of.I just wish someone would make a computer simulation of it to the quality of say,Rome Total War.

Yeah, did you ever play sid miers civil war game. That was brilliant, even had replays with arrows afterwards to tell you how you did. Very good game, lots of fun. You could charge and they did the trumpet attack lol, but i dont think there were any horse in it. Gettysburg i think it was, the one where they were fighting for shoes or something?
Wicked game.

Excellent, you think the engine for total war would run an American Civil war game? It would be a fun game with todays graphics no doubt!
When people guess on the next total war game they always say "I want a civil war version!" well, i would buy it too though i prefer medieval era and earlier.
Maybe you will be lucky with the next game.

its good. the battles are good, but the story is a bit weak. i dont know how accurate it is historically either. definelt worth a look tho. As for the next Toatal War game, id love to see a Napoleonic one.

BTW are there any good books on the crusades? im reading one on the fourth crusade at the moment,its good. man everyone was so crooked back then, and claiming to be doing "gods will". fooking chancers.
