Banners etc.

Hi people,

I was wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction to a resource for making banners etc.
I think I need a web page but dont really know where to start
Any advice would be greatlel appreciated.The signature i am currentlu using was made by a m8 and i would like to try and make my own .

The way i would do it would be to make one in some sort of paint program, like paintshop pro or something, and then host it at imageshack.us

You then just have to post the link in your sig and it will appear. I dont have one though because im graphically challenged

There may be a cleverer way to do it and of course if you have your own webspace you could host it there.
