Loading external Torps

I can never seem to get my external torps to load. I know I need to surface and come to a stop. I then load up both torpedo rooms with personnell but they still dont load. Im using the Auto load function. Am I missing something?

You do not have to stop the boat, but you have to drag the external torpedo from its location on deck to the storage position aboard in the weapons handling station (click on the picture of your weapons officer on the lower panel).

Then you can put the mouse cursor on the external torpedo, and it says how long time is remaining of the loading. The picture of the external torpedo will successively be shortened, like a thermometer showing loading time.

Also make sure you are not under 'silent running'. I learned this the hard way.

Their is one little point to remember the last torpedo forward and aft must be loaded on the surface thats your very last one for both sections.
