Manual TDC in Demo....How??

I always seen to be in auto mode when I run the torpedo trainer; the target data always shows on the pad right away, and the ship ID box is checked when I open the book. What am I doing wrong?

Well, I went back to the trainer after playing career on manual only, and now I can only use the manual mode!

Getting the hang of it now though.
