Ya right, what a crock of crap that is. For all you 'no camera' guys out there beware of this. When going for the under the keel shots with magnetic triggers your Officer will very often report that the 'torpedo missed' when it actually has done the job. I would say about half the 'missed' reports are bogus. The torpedo may detonate a tiny bit early or late (I position the camera under the boat looking right down the length of it) but they go off and cripple the ship regardless of the bogus report. Silly Officer, hope he likes the feeling of all the mollusk shells as I keel haul him! ;D

I think he reports keel shots as missed if you fail to sink the boat in one shot. I've hade several shots explode too early or too late and dammage the boat but not enough to sink it. He reports these shots as misses.
I guess if you goal was to sink it in one shot you technically did miss.

I just had one reported as a miss that actually did sink the ship moments later. First time that has happened. Although it was really rough seas at the time so maybe it did not quite sink it until seconds later the seas claimed it.
