 I am just starting the game and I fired my three torpedos and they went too deep. The remaining two remain in "queue". When do they come out of queue and starting loading???

They probably ran too deep because you had them set to run at that depth.you can set torpedoes to different depths so they explode under the keel doing the most damage,and keel depth varies per ship class.
The reason why they arent loading and just queing are either,
you can only load one torpedo per compartment at a time,if one is loading, the others will naturally be queuing.
You dont have the torpedo room manned or at a high enough level of efficiency(blue status bar on top of compartment)
or you have silent running "z " key on. no torepdo reloads, repairs or pumping is carried out during that time until u switch it off.

Realism is 26%. Don't know how I got that, but that is what it says I have.

You most likely dont have enough crew in the compartment to load the torps. If you do then then will show a timer counting down. Also as said if you are on silent running you will not be able to load any torps. Finally, if you are trying to load outboard torps (shown above the boat on the scematics) then you will need to be on the surface to load them in  Hope that helps! |

It was my first sub, my first patrol, on the surface and there were no tubes on the deck and there was enough crew in the compartment. robj250

Hey Robert,
As for torpedo loading :
1. Make sure you have enough crew in the compartment, at least 50% of the green bar above the compartment.
2. If you shoot a torpedo and you have one in your ready reserves they will load automatic. ( as long as the compartment is manned.) Put your mouse over the torpedo and you should see the amount of time left before it is fully loaded.
3.If you need to load your external reserves Click and drag a torpedo from your external reserves to a empty slot in you ready reserves.
