I think what Stroker found was a mod that is on the Sub Sim website. It allows you to use US subs in Pacific waters using the SH3 engine. But elements of the game including the existing crewmen are part of it. I came across it about a month or so ago. It looked interesting but if I remember it was limited, in missions you could do and subs you could take.

hey stoker found it looked around on other game sites it a big thumbs down its been out since september 2005 and no comment on this site until now suggests no one has any real interest and it looks like a rip off heres a couple of comments from one game site Comment for game: Silent Hunter III: Seawolves Skugger A good idea, but unfortunately the Seewolves team appear to have "borrowed" a good deal of material from the sub simulation mod community. There is a lot of debate about weather this is truly a crass attempt to profit from stolen intellectual property, or just a big misunderstang The original mod developers put their work out there for free ... and the subsim community is generally outraged. There is a strong move to boycott this expansion... This appears to be a case of stolen intellectual property. The subsim mod community put these ideas out there for free. I was unaware of this. It is true to say that there is a lot of stuff on this cd that is available in the subsim community. This more than a little suspicious. Maybe it should be given a wide berth. Or risk being sent to the russian front Herr Kaleun.
