Great post Richard. I wonder if you could please update the list with the areas that one that is asked to patrol? Ex. 12th flotilla patrols the caribbean. etc?
Thanks, Dan

Hi, molsondan
The game generates ram don search grids so its a bit hard to give you full information the only thing I can say is this Type VII U-Boats based in France mainly patrol the Atlantic Sea any where from near England to much further out in to the Atlantic some times you will be sent south to patrol west of Spain.
If you want different hunting areas join the 29th Flotilla which patrols the Mediterranean Sea only up to late 1944 or join the 2nd Flotilla which does long range patrols west of Africa and the Caribbean along with the Eastern Seaboard of America but there is a problem which I know I am not the only one to suffer this getting out of base takes up to 15 minutes a real pain.
As for the bases in Norway as yet I have not started a career there yet I suspect your patrols will be the North Sea and the Atlantic may be some one else can help out on that one who have started there careers in Norway I hope this helps you out.
Richard

Thanks Richard. Yeah, I've been experimenting and that one base is a pain in the butt. 12th is fun so far doing the Caribbean. But like you said, it's random and I think once you elect to go for the larger subs, the further your patrols will go. Ciao, Dan
