G'day Folks,
Whats the story with the "request resupply" & "request Escort" buttons mentioned in the manual? I've started with a basic sub in my career & upgraded to a fairly big one now but I've never seen these buttons on the Radio operators console. Anyone got the same problem?

It is the same for me. I think these functions were planned, but never implemented. I have seen much discussion on SHIII-forums of the missing "milk-cows" = supply ships, and if they can be implemented via "mods" = modifications.
Also I have seen discussions on "request Escort", or more precisely how to return to base. If you sail all the way back to the uboat dock, there have problems to end the mission. I have always ended my missions a bit outside the home port via the "end mission" alternative in the menu where you save games, and that has always worked.

Yeah you just have to get near the port and everything is ok, i actually like driving up to the dock though where the band are  Its fun. If you do this be carefull though, remember boats take a while to stop so stick it in reverse before you get in properly! |
