Hi everyone I was wondering is it worth having a petty officer medic on the grounds when I get hit my crew go from alive to dead has anyone had wounded sailors ? Richard  |

Richard Hey Richard I have the same problem, they are either alive or dead. I did see a wounded sailor once though but not for long because I sank...LOL ;D  |

I have had a few wounded sailors, mainly both were wounded on deck. I had a medic on board. Both were at full strength in a few hours. My guess is that if you have no medic, it takes longer for the man to heal, or he does not heal at all. To be on the safe side include one. He can always be used for other duties.

Hi all just to let everyone know yes you do get wounded crew I just had my first when they are wounded a red outline appears around the crew man look at his info there is a red cross in his section and as MarshalLaw has pointed out with the medic he was fixed and back in action in 17 hours.
So yes a medic is needed thanks all for your posts

To use a medic put the wounded man in one of the crew compartments where they rest, and then put the medic in with him. Without a medic there is a chance he will die. medics help them survive and recover quicker. Though crew can still die  |

If an officer has the same qualification, will they heal a sailor as well? I hate just having that poor medic sit in the berthing all day doing nothing!

I have had wounded appears as a sailor with red / Black cross next to him. Moved him into the same quarters, Did not see any type of assistance given. Later found out you can burry at sea.
