Hello all ,
I'm in Sept 1942 and early warning radar became available to me. I tried it out the planes still were seen by my watchmen , not a peep from the radio man. Anyone use this or is it as useless as the regular radar?
One other question, As a dove down a lucky hit destroyed my back dive planes, I was close to St. Nazerine, so I decided to go there for repairs I exited the patrol so I could dock, and I ended up with a Null patrol back to Lorient. What did I miss so I could have continued the patrol? On patrol 25 was heading for grid DC 21 before I ran into trouble. Any good spots in that area to prowl for targets?
Thanks,

Strange that when you exited it sent you back to llorient. It should have started you at st nazaire. It does end the patrol though because they resupply the boat also and refit it. But it shouldnt have transported you to another port. Did you sail right into the port first? If you didnt then this is the problem, if you did then it must be a bug.
As for good spots to prowl check the map that came with the game. It has all the routes and shipping lanes on there. Scouting around these lanes is always good and if not then scouting about near ports if there are any. But this is dangerous also! Planes and enemy combat ships will be quick to react to your sinkings also.
