In SH2 you can abandon ship which of course will result in your capture by the enemy can you do this in SH3 ? it looks to me that you can not you can go out in a blaze of glory or go out listening to your favorite record as you go to the bottom anyone got an answer.

Richard Hi Richard unfortunately the answer to your wonderful question is no.  I and many others totaly agree with you on this subject! Its just another one of those things that should have been there but is not. We can only hope that they will make an expantion pack with this in it for SH3 or atleast impliment that into SH4 if they even make SH4. But if they dont they dont. I'm still plenty well impressed with this wonderful game! ;D  |

OL Well I will see how far I get at the moment on my first career 13 patrols completed I am 1/4 the way in to 1942 it is a shame you can not surrender as we all know some U-Boat captains did surrender during the war also they missed out a very important piece of equipment in SH3 the enigma machine ?

:-[I'm now on my tenth career but there may be a way??? I haven't tryed it yet what would happen if you sail into a neutral port will you get interned???
