I have joined the ranks of the elite.

After a LONG patrol about 400 K off the coast of New York City.... I have finally joined the 100k club of Uboote officers!

I ran into a convoy that I played cat and mouse with and sunk one T2 and 2 T3s, all while dodging 3 DDs (one was a HEDGEHOG) and a Corvette.... and to get my final ship (I was at 97,000k after my convoy hit...and no torps left) I had to sink the C3 with my remaining AP deck gun shells and ALL my 37mm Flak shells!

Didnt think I was going to get that last ship.... and I was MAD! She was dead in the water and listing hard to Starboard.

Hey, thats great! Welcome aboard the 100K Officers club. Its not an easy thing to do. Specaily when you up the realism settings. Just you wait until you run into a battle ship taskforce or a passenger liner. Your heart will start to feel like its going to beat out of your chest. Lots of FUN! I love it! ;D

Thats the two things I havent run into yet... a Battleship (or aircraft carrier) or a passenger liner.

I just about died tonight.....tried to take on a convoy in heavy fog and rain.... and 4 DDs picked me up before I could get into position. I saw the outer ships (costal merchants) but didnt get close enough to the tankers!! Those DDs were tenacious buggers! Took 4 Sonar decoys and running at full speed with thier DC attacks to get away. Hull is at 85%, damaged Port rudder, and various other damage after all was done.

LOL, I use the free roaming camera to help me in those sort of situations with heavy fog.

Im totaly in LOVE with my FUMO30 radar (360deg view) for chasing ships in fog (except for DDs or escorts...they see your radar as clear as day if you have it on).
