I went into my sound file with the intention of changing my gramaphone playlist, because frankly it was a bit short and was beginning to bore me. Only when i went into it i realised that there were loads of songs there that had never played once!!
I noticed that these were all .wma files? it obviously doesnt play these. i tried just changing the extension to mp3,but it wouldnt work. is there a way of playing wma files?

Ok, you won't get anywhere by just changing the file extensions. You have to convert the file itself into a recognizable (for the gramophone) format such as mp3 or wav. There is a very good free tool for just this purpose called dbpoweramp. You can get it here: www.dbpoweramp.com/You will also need to download and install the wma codec. This is available from the same site. Just scroll down to the bottom of the above page and click on Windows Media Audio 9.1 Release 1 It's all very intuitive as regards installation and use. If you have any problems shout back . It definately does the job you want. Good luck BlitzPig_Rivet
