Hey all. I tried to upgrade my processor this week. I was on the low-end margins that the game requires. I attempted to move to the recommended processor requirements.
When I ran the game I got a game error message essentially saying the game was not compatible with the hardware. I tried the old chip and I was able to play no questions asked.
Is this some kind of game protection? Does the game only recognize the pc configuration that I had when I loaded the original key code? Seeing other posts about people upgrading their machines makes me wonder why I can't play with a better chip installed.
