Kinda funny. I posted a question on how to find out where in the world are those nice juicy battle ships and carriers hiding at in a thread on the UBI SH3 forum. I then decided that I would go and play the game wile waiting for replies. I found 2 T3's all by them selfs to start with. I then sailed a little further and ran into my first passenger liner. I sailed a little further again and low and behold, what did I come across. A task force. YIPPY! So, I got into possion for that perfect shot.
I sent 4 torps at a fast moving King George V battle ship. 3 hit and one went just aft and missed. But that was OK because the 3 sunk him.
I then knew that I would have about 9 destroyers on my case. So, I did my best to evade. Deploy decoys and dive,dive,dive as fast and as quiet as I could.
Ahhh, come on boys. I only sunk one battle ship. No need to have hard feelings.
Well, I got away of course

I then happen to find another task force. WOW, 2 task forces in one mission. I about fell out of my chaire. LOL. This time it was 4 DD's escorting a Bogue Escort Carrier. Yippy again! I was able to setup again for a nice shot. I sent the last 2 forward torps her way and BOOM, down she went. Of course I had to evade the destroyers. This time it was much easyer. I had only one come after me. Piece of cake!
What an absolute blast that was. I hope to find more task forces for sure. I ended up getting the most tonnage I have ever got so far to top this awesome potrol off. My realism setting is @ 87% with manual TDC. I must say, hitting those buggers was not easy because they are moving very fast!

) I'm using several mods. The moon, u-boat wake, and dials mods from Ailantd. I'm using a harbor texture mod from Christian P. Roesdahl. And I'm using a sky mod that I highly recommend from Frank "Seeadler" Kaune. I still stop occasionally to look at the awesome clouds. Thats it though for me. I'm not interested in the other mods. From what I have seen they can cause some probs and I'm not much for some of there features.
