Lol just curious as when i play i have not really found a favourite place yet. I think i am leaning towards crew management. From here i listen to the soundman and keep an eye on the damage ect. Though i often jump to the command room to see the shaking and the soundman compartment to listen for myself. But highest amount of time i would say in the damage control.
How about you?

Hard to say, pretty much split up between sonar, crew management screen and map. I abstained, not sure which I spend more in. lol
Edit: Went with Map.

I spend most of the time looking at the nav map and the attack map when it comes to launchin the fish. But the nav map is way more usefull for plotting course and measuring distances. Somethimes i jump on the hydrophone and search for merchant ships, and i like standing on deck and guiding the sub while the crew fires the deck gun on merchants. Periscope is vital too, i like it more than the UZO

If i'm not in the map mode for plotting a course either to my patrol grid or to intercept something I like to hang out in the 3d command room. I like telling then what to do and seeing everyone spring into action (turning valves and stuff).
Also if you get depth charged its fun to see the pipes burst and shoot water all over and the light bulbs explode.

At surface I go from map room to Uzo or binoculars! Submerged, from there to sonar. And from time to time to repair station.
