When using manual TDC, i point the periscope to the target, press the lock button and then press the small watch-icon and the clock starts ticking. After +- 15 seconds i press the icon again, giving me a target speed of 300 knots ! What am i doing wrong?

1) make sure you got the range right 2) make sure you're not moving, or you'll mess up the entire calculation.

I think you can be moving, but just not turning. Turning makes it very error filled. I think if you are moving yourself it takes this into account. Though i need to do more testing to find this out for sure... **wishes they had done a proper manual lol**

It's really a shame that we even haven't received a decent manual in .pdf format. The one we did receive is really a piece of rubbish. I keep telling it over and over : a decent Sim requires a decent manual. But manual or not, it's still a great game.

Personally they are not going to get an extra 20 or 30 dollars from me for a 'How to' book. I would of rather paid more for the game and have it come with a book that tells me all that can be done. Let me decide what and when to do it. It is the biggest let down of the game for me, it just does not make sense, other than a money grab, to put out a wonderfully crafted game like this and not even tell you the ins and outs of what you can do with it in a manual.

Well finding out all the hidden stuff by yourself improves game experience... when it doesn't cause frustration
