Yep I have been playin' alot lately.
Been hosting my own games as there are too many password protected servers!
It is hard to get in cuz of the ready up button but I find most ppl will do what is necessary to get in a game.
Especially one without a darned password.
But it would be alot more fun to get up with some ppl and square away our tactics. Something one really cant do with strangers.
Well ya can but, its difficult at best.
But it seems that we have a new place to meet up now so I know where I'll be comin to get ppl into a mission.

Hi Dominico, very nice site you´ve made, this time with Silent Hunter lll I will use all the site I can find incl. yours. I´m very glad to see how many people all over who is interested i sub simulations. I makes the world more fun.. don´t you think.. keep up the god work ;D

Hi everybody who is used to being on IT forum`s . I have to ask : Why do you use slang; like LOL and other inside words, please could anyone/body explaine or list for me the slang you use? Remember a lot of us is not American or English, but we hope to keep up if we(I) can get some explanations. Sorry if I made som mistake in this writing. I´m Danish, No you don´t eat us HE HE. ;D ;D ;D

It is a internet slang thing. Even English speaking people without the internet would have no idea what LOL means. There are a few, but here is a start. LOL = Laughing Out Loud. so whatever was said struck the person as really funny ROFL= Roll On Floor Laughing, same as above, funny as hell. LMAO = Laughing My A ss Off. same as above, and can be added on the end of the above one for a ROFLMAO IMO = In My Opinion, and people sometimes add a "H" in there, so you get IMHO which is 'In My Honest/Humble Opinion. There are many more, just ask as they pop up. And the exact words are subject to interpretation so the translations are not exact (as in the H part of IMHO, can be humble, or honest or quite a few others) You will find the board here friendly so it is safe to ask without fear or reprisals and flames. |

I wonder, well where is this forum from. It is no european, I can see that,For my me I dont care, What I like is that; I asked a/some questions; people answered it , Makes me proud, Some say that different people can´t join in the same course! Well the course might be Silent Hunter lll, I don`t think so; Silen Hunter lll is as way to express for a lot of people all over the world, that they like to play and thats it.

I have to confess, I am a bit of a fraud. I live in New Zealand now, but for the first 38 years of my life I lived in the country I was born in, Canada. Been here in New Zealand for about 3 years or so now.
But I sure do agree with you, where you are from has nothing to do with the ability to share in a common interest. I just feel bad that I am stuck in one language. So many people out there seem to be able to write in multipul languages. I can speak a tiny bit of French (from living in Canada, Chinese (from living in Canada) and Thai (spent a couple of years there). No way I could communicate in text with any of these though.
